Gas & Electricity
Received wonderful "you owe us the following" letters from:
- British Gas for GBP60
- Seeboard Electricity for GBP132
Yes first reaction was to choke and die - especially when its only for a billable period since the 10 Jan! It turns out that everything on the bills was estimated (and the tenant there before us used a whack of gas and electricity).
Gave them the relevant meter readings and now we owe GBP20 for gas and GBP8.20 for electricity. Not too bad then, especially since its right in the middle of winter.
Must remember to get those paid before going on holiday otherwise they may start sending nasty letters!
(P.S Moving to a new place is terrible. Really hate having to organise all of these annoying little things).
