We're both employed!
Andy just had a phone call now to say that he's not going to be made redundant as he's got offered the job that he applied for today!!!!! Its doing some kind of IT Helpdesk, but the min salary will be the same as mine, so with the Outer London Allowance it should be just under GBP18,000. Great hey?
Will be brilliant now that we're both earning more - might even be able to start getting some decent savings going?
Once we return from SA we're going to look into getting a mortgage here in the UK. It totally sucks spending GBP650 on paying someone else's mortgage, so maybe we could get a 1 bedroom flat somewhere. Would be a good investment at the very least.
Time to celebrate!
