Podcasting and enclosures

I just found out that Newsgator can handle enclosures for RSS feeds that contain attachments. Newsgator will go and download the file and add it as an attachment to the item. My only concern is that my Outlook PST file is already sitting at 350MB and from using iPodder my Daily Source Code download has already reached 1.5GB.

What is the limit on PST files in general? Actually what do most people do with their podcasts once they have listened to them as you can really rack up a huge load of files. And if these things were stored in Outlook then you would have to be doing loads of maintenance to keep Outlook from melting down on you.

Surely you could archive the podcasts to DVD or another storage area but how often are you likely to return to as previous podcast that you wish to listen to?
