Reminders on macOS Mojave is badged with the wrong count
I had an issue where Reminders on my Mac was badged with a '2' despite nothing being due. All other devices were badged correctly.
This post had a solution which worked. Weirdly it involved the Calendar so give it a read for an interesting backstory.
