Carbonara
- Fry bacon in olive oil until crispy and set aside
- In the same frying pan add shallots adding olive oil as needed
- Chop bacon and add into onions
- Add in garlic and white wine
- Season with salt and lots of pepper
- Add in cream or yoghurt (if you're on a diet)
- Add in a whole egg followed by 2 to 3 handfuls of Parmesan
- Add in pasta and stir in well
- Sprinkle with mixed herbs
