Restart for anything
This post says it all and I really like the link to the alternative dialog box :) Why does one need to reboot for a Windows Installer update?
Actually whats even worse is that if you install the update and refuse to reboot Windows will take it upon itself to restart your machine about an hour later. So the prompts just make you feel like you're in control for a little while before it decides that it knows best!
